The Atei Jungle and its surrounding forest landscape are efficiently managed under the Keonjhar Forest Division, which ensures the protection, conservation, and sustainable management of this eco-sensitive zone.

Under the guidance of the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Keonjhar, the division maintains wildlife habitats, forest cover, and biodiversity. Dedicated staff, protection squads, and community participation under VSS programs help maintain ecological balance.
